A new study from the University of Texas shows more people are seeking complementary and alternative forms of medicine.
Around two decades ago, 1/3 of all Americans used alternative medicine. Now, that number are nearly doubled.
Alternative medicine includes practices like yoga, massage, herbal medicine and meditation. Researchers say say the rising cost of health care has contributed to this increase.
Dr. Magaziner also addresses another study from the College of London which finds 5 new genes associated with Parkinson’s Disease.
