Dr. Roth is a highly trained, compassionate Integrative Medicine physician.
He is double Board-Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Interventional Pain Management. He is also a Certified Medical Acupuncturist, and an Osteopath (DO).
Dr. Roth strongly believes in the need for a more comprehensive approach to healthcare—one that takes time to identify root causes specific to each individual, allowing for personalized treatments that address underlying problems and help prevent future disease—rather than simply masking symptoms.
The current healthcare system offers life-saving treatments for acute injury and illness, but is failing against chronic disease—by far the biggest cause of hospitalizations, disability, and death in our country. Dr. Roth understands that every chronic condition is complex and unique, and therefore requires integrated and truly personalized treatment.
Combining this passion with his extensive training, well-rounded experience, and natural ability to connect with people, Dr. Roth is uniquely qualified to help guide his patients out of painful suffering into healthier, more balanced and fulfilled lives.
Born in Philadelphia and raised in Vineland, NJ, he studied Life Sciences at Penn State University and earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Morristown Medical Center, was elected Chief Resident of PM&R at NYU, and achieved a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Hackensack Meridian-JFK Rehab Institute.
While at PCOM, Dr. Roth served as President of Integrative Medicine Club, and trained under renowned Integrative Medicine pioneer Dr. Andrew Weil. During his residency, Dr. Roth earned a Certification of Medical Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in NYC.
He values lifelong learning and continues to incorporate cutting-edge therapies into his practice.
Since completing his training, Dr. Roth has treated thousands of patients in chronic pain, learning the intricacies of chronic illness and the barriers to adequate treatment rendered by the conventional medical model. Here at Magaziner Center for Wellness, Dr. Roth is well equipped to be a leader in the pursuit of better healthcare—combining the best of all medical philosophies from East to West—to diagnose root causes, prevent illness, provide personalized treatments, and help guide his patients to long, healthy lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Roth enjoys nature, sports, traveling, and eating foods of all cultures with his family, friends, and diverse community.
