Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Dr. Friedman specializes in musculoskeletal injuries and non-pharmacologic approaches to pain. In other words, drug free.
He uses holistic manual medicine techniques such as: acupuncture, dry needling, trigger point injection, prolotherapy, joint injection, PRP, and strapping and exercise in an effort to improve functional mobility, quality of life and reduce pain.
These are science-based and non-invasive techniques that aim to prevent, care, and can even cure health problems, not mask them.
Dr. Friedman earned his medical degree from The State University of New York at Syracuse in 1995, completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital, NY and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Philadelphia, PA. He also serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
